16/04/09 - Fitzpatrick Woolmer join in the Easter fun at Greenwich

Fitzpatrick Woolmer, providers of creative solutions to enhance public and open spaces, join in the fun at Greenwich this Easter.

This Easter weekend children all over Greenwich were limbering up to take part in the Greenwich annual Easter Egg Challenge. As part of the challenge children had to hunt for letters, to create words relating to a park feature. With the help of some clues all participating youngsters completed the challenge to receive their egg and there was certainly no shortage of chocolate!

Greenwich Council Park Ranger Janine Seguss comments “The Well Hall Pleasaunce Easter Egg Challenge has been running for 6 years. The idea of the event is to encourage youngsters to use their local facilities in parks and it has become a community-wide event with many people taking part. On behalf of Greenwich Council Parks Department I would like to thank Fitzpatrick Woolmer for their kind donation of 100 chocolate eggs, helping to keep this event a success.”

Fitzpatrick Woolmer Managing Director, Mark Woolmer adds “It’s great to be involved in activities that give something back to the local community and it’s nice to know that our interpretation displays, notice boards and other work with Greenwich Council is really paying off. Our goal is to help enhance visitor experiences, adding to the success of park events and challenges all-year-round.”
