Sign and Wayfinding Strategy
FWDP is the creative division of Fitzpatrick Woolmer and our designers can apply their considerable knowledge of designing and manufacturing effective signage and wayfinding schemes to develop a detailed strategy for your site or attraction.
From initial stakeholder interviews and site surveys to the identification of touch points and decision points, we will gain a thorough understanding of your attraction, how visitors behave and the architecture and landscape that will influence sign styles, colours and materials.
We will gain a complete understanding your brand, ensuring finished solutions are not only practical, but reflect the values and positioning of your organisation. Materials will be a primary consideration in developing concept designs, whether rustic oak or contemporary stainless steel, all must be considered in relation to weathering, vandalism, messaging and durability.
We will undertake a full audit of existing signage, to ensure there is no conflicting information, styles and positioning, making recommendations for removal or repair of existing sign displays. Our strategy will include dimensioned drawings with material specification and outline costs for implementation.
Maps and plans will be included to identify sign locations and our final strategy can be used to support funding applications, HLF bids and planning applications.
