Seaford Head, Sussex Wildlife Trust

About

Seaford Head Nature Reserve is managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust and offers undulating walks with stunning views to the cliffs of Seven Sisters. Its clifftop location makes it susceptible to all kinds of weather, requiring hard wearing signage that can withstand the occasional harsh conditions.

To welcome visitors the site required a mix of badging signswelcome signs, combination notice boards and interpretive lecterns, all manufactured from oak with full colour n-viro™ printed panels.

Our nature reserve signage service included a mix of badging signs, welcome signs, combination notice boards and interpretive lecterns to welcome visitors, all manufactured from oak with full colour n-viro™ printed panels.”

Oak is a Class 2 rated hardwood and has a life expectancy of 15 to 25 years. It is ideally suited to the exposed location and has a rustic feel that complements the landscape. n-viro™ printed panels have a 10 year guarantee against fading and come with a scratch, flame and graffiti resistant coating, perfect for public open spaces.

The installation presented a number of challenges due to the remote location and limited access, and required the use of specialist 4 wheel drive vehicles and trailers, all provided by Fitzpatrick Woolmer’s installation team.
