Some projects simply require us to apply our considerable manufacturing experience to realise the vision of the designer and architect, and South Lodge Hotel and Spa was just such a project.
Working alongside brand consultant Tim Watson and designers Studio eNaR, our job was to bring to life their 2 dimensional ideas using durable materials, quality manufacturing techniques and graphic finishing. Signs had to be produced to a very high standard and require minimal maintenance.
By combining hard wearing metal panels with durable Iroko timber, we created a contemporary signage and wayfinding scheme that suited the client’s brand and sat well within the historic landscape.
Rustic features included an engraved badging sign produced from waney edge oak with hallowed LED lighting, creating the perfect first impression for those entering the tranquillity of the spa area.
Internal welcome signs and wayfinding signs were CNC profiled from veneered plywood and acrylic, supported by vinyl wall graphics and decals.
