Cobham Hall’s New Signage Scheme
Set in beautifully manicured grounds, Cobham Hall in Kent is celebrating 50 years as an independent boarding and day school for girls. The school sought a fresh signage scheme to create continuity throughout the grounds and aid navigation. We designed and produced entrance signs, wayfinding signs and traffic calming signs for Cobham Hall.
A warm and friendly welcome is an excellent way to make visitors feel appreciated and comfortable in your site. To greet visitors into Cobham Hall, we produced a bespoke aluminium welcome sign, complete with a locking noticeboard; now visitors, students, staff and parents can be kept fully up to date with the latest news and events. To further enhance the welcome sign, we created a profiled header to clearly emphasise the school’s emblem.
Cobham Hall was keen to improve road safety around the premises. We produced a series of clear and easy-to-read traffic calming signs which included speed restrictions, pedestrian signs and public warning signs.
To aid navigation, we produced lightweight aluminium plaques helping visitors and new students find their way around the grounds with ease.
Displaying durable, well-kept signage highlights the care that goes into maintaining a site. The signs are protected by a tough, anti-tamper film which enhances durability and keeps them looking like new for many years. Our robust signs require little maintenance and make an affordable signage solution for schools.
Terry Curran, Estates Manager at Cobham Hall, is delighted with the signage scheme we produced, he said: “I am pleased with Fitzpatrick Woolmer’s prompt personal touch and the sound advice they gave to me.”
