Eastbrookend Country Park, London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

Eastbrookend Country Park has an amazing heritage and a host of exciting areas to explore, including its newly planted community orchard alongside woodland, grassland and wetland habitats. To encourage exploration and further learning development, we produced a range of interpretation and orientation displays supported by activity based waymarked trails and a guide leaflet.

Our work included the design of interpretation and orientation displays featuring detailed wildlife illustrations and a colourful map, to help visitors understand the natural history and aid orientation.

Interpretation was presented in wheelchair accessible Oak lecterns from our Musketeer™ range and a large welcome sign from our Bowman™ range featured a full colour n-viro™ print with 10 year guarantee and a robust stainless steel free vend leaflet holder.

A series of waymarking posts were installed in the woodland and wetland areas that included tactile plaques and permanently engraved wayfinding messages. Etched zinc plaques are extremely robust and allow for the reproduction of detailed illustrations, perfect for brass rubbing type activities.

Additional welcome graphics were installed in the visitor centre supported by a free guide leaflet that visitors can use to explore the park.
