Nestling at the foot of the beautiful North Downs in south east England, Otford is a thriving village on the River Darent with a past steeped in history. At the village centre is a church, the village pond, two pubs, cafes and shops.
Creating a heritage trail need not be expensive. By using local artists, Otford Parish Council put together their own artwork to create a unique heritage trail that tells the story of local buildings, characters and events.
In total ten interpretive lecterns were installed throughout the village, creating a self led trail that reveals the history and heritage that makes up this beautiful village. To make the budget stretch even further, we supplied interpretation lecterns from our stainless steel Chelmer lectern range. These lecterns are simple in their look and construction, but offer excellent levels of vandal resistance and durability.
n-viro™ printed panels bring out the bright colours of the interpretation boards and offer a scratch resistant finish that is flame proof, graffiti resistant and comes with a 10 year fade free guarantee. Request a sample
