Providing Bespoke Lecterns for The Royal Parks

The Royal Parks are known for their beautiful green open spaces, high profile events and fascinating heritage, so it’s no surprise they are visited every year by thousands of tourists and Londoners alike. To enhance the visitor experience we manufactured 13 custom-made lecterns for ChaCha Design for The Regent’s Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.

In partnership with ChaCha, we developed and manufactured ‘The Highwayman’; a bespoke lectern to their design complete with leaflet dispenser. We modified our stainless steel Ammonite™ to neatly secure underneath the interpretation panel and by halving its height and moving the lock from the lid to the front panel, we were able to attach the top of the dispenser to the underside of the lectern. When unlocked the dispenser naturally swings backwards allowing leaflets to be replenished. The Ammonite™ comes with a bright red indicator which signifies when pamphlets have run out and prevents wildlife from nesting inside. The hard-wearing dispenser can distribute both DL and A5 sized leaflets.

Designed by ChaCha with cyclists in mind, the interpretation panels display maps which highlight bicycle routes as well as health and safety information. To ensure the interpretation remains looking neat, we printed the supplied artwork on our high quality n-Viro™ products (Request a sample.) The panel’s anti-graffiti finish keeps the boards in excellent condition giving visitors a good impression of your site and allowing them to read the information comfortably.

To create continuity throughout these distinguished open spaces the lecterns were powder-coated to match The Royal Park’s branding guidelines.
