Comprised of seventy five miles of dynamic and assorted coastline, the Saltmarsh Coast has lots to offer. It is an essential natural life territory, with a lot of boundless expanses, dynamic tidal estuaries and notable towns. Whatever time of year, it is the ideal place to enjoy a leisurely day out with family and friends, to stretch your legs and find something new.
Some projects present quite a challenge and when we were approached by Maldon Council to manufacture a range of bespoke lecterns we knew this would be one of them. And whilst our client knew how they wanted their lecterns to look, it was our expertise in fabrication that helped realise their vision.
The finished solution had to be robust and allow for the changing of graphic panels should they be vandalised. With so many opposing angles, it was the experience of our skilled CAD designers and carpenters that ensured a successful conclusion to the project.
Manufactured from seasoned oak with full colour n-viro™ prints, Maldon Council’s interpretive lecterns are vandal resistant, graffiti resistant and have a 10 year lightfastness guarantee.
The finished scheme included solar powered audio points and post mounted people counters.
