While each technique has its advantages in terms of longevity and style, Fitzpatrick Woolmer guarantees that we can design and manufacture your plaque signage within 4 to 8 weeks. This is subject to the receipt of payment and print-ready artwork or sign-off of proofs. Please note that large quantities may require a longer lead time.

Plaque Signage Materials
Some of the materials we use for our plaques include:
Wood. While the majority of our products include some form of metal in its composition, we also offer plaques which are mounted onto a wooden base to reinforce the sheet of engraved metal. This stylish finish makes this wooden sign ideal for installation indoors or outdoors and can provide a more traditional, welcoming feel to the plaque.
Brass. Brass plaque signs are long lasting and durable , and are permanently etched to ensure that the characters on the metal remain perfect for years to come.
Aluminium and Bronze. Ideal for outdoor installation, aluminium and bronze plaque signs can be both a stylish and long-lasting addition to any building. Plaques which are cast in aluminium or bronze are commonly used in commemoration or for memorial purposes.
Zinc. A cost-effective and hard-wearing material, zinc etched plaques are capable of withstanding tough external conditions. Zinc plaques are also capable of being toned to different colours, unlike stainless steel, granite or brass.
