Chiddingstone Castle, Denys Eyre Bower Bequest Trust

About

The “Fields of Eternity” is a garden created by Chiddingstone Castle to raise awareness of their Egyptian antiquities collection and spark the imagination of younger visitors. A series of winding paths cut into the North Lawn create a voyage of discovery, leading to Egyptian themed artefacts and activities.

To help visitors understand the significance of each discovery and aid orientation, a series of Oak Musketeerlecterns were installed at key points along the route. These low level interpretive displays are ideal for children and families, and included tactile features produced from etched zinc.

Working from client supplied artwork, we produced full colour n-viro™ prints with a 10 year fade resistant guarantee. Key features of the interpretation were emphasised with face mounted zinc plaques, affording a 3D element to the display.

Chiddingstone Castle took advantage of our installation service, to ensure a safe and efficient conclusion to the project.
